Right click a picture for a three engine reverse search, or play Spot the Fake to train your eye.
Where the answers come from
We do not decide what is true. We surface what independent organisations such as Snopes, PolitiFact, FactCheck.org, Full Fact and Dutch fact-checkers published, and we add domain intelligence on more than 10,000 sources, now including EFCSN, EDMO, EU DisinfoLab and EUvsDisinfo. AI analysis is a clearly labelled extra, never the verdict.

Our unique Transparency Score rewards every action you take in the community, reflecting the quality of your contributions. Every action you take, whether submitting claims or reviewing others, directly impacts your score, which is always between 0 and 150. For example, when you submit a claim
Submit a claim
Open the Dashboard and click "My submissions" in the sidebar.
Click
"+ New submission".
Fill in the claim
Paste the exact claim, headline, or statement you want reviewed.
Claim source
Enter the source URL where you found it.
Category
Select a category (Politics, Health, Science, Economics, etc.).
Priority
Set priority to urgent if the claim is spreading rapidly.
Optional
Optionally explain why you find it suspicious and add a screenshot link.
Submit
Click "Submit for review". You earn +5 points immediately.
